baltimore want police to press more charges. monet's family believes there is more to the story. two of her friends, have been charged as juveniles with involuntary manslaughter. they were playing a a rifle in northeast baltimore when it went off killing monet. police say it'sen it is unclear who the gun belonged to. no one called 911. the boys dragged the girl's body outside and tried to bury her under garbage bags. >> they had time to think about what happened and what can i do to get rid of the body so it didn't look like we didn't have anything to do with it. >> her family will be pressing for charges against the two boys. an update from breaking

news last night. police are investigating a double shooting. 3510 mulberry street, the same address as mary e rod mann elementary school. one person was killed. second person taken to the hospital. no word on his condition. maryland's handgun permit law is unconstitutional. it says that you have to have good and substantial reason to carry a handgun. a judge says that infringes on the second amendment right. the second amendment foundation calls it a victory. brady center says it goes out of the norm and will likely be reversed. department of public works will be checking for defective pipes, starting an inspection, taking place in lincoln park. unpaid water bills and sewer bills could lead to a lien on your home. council president jack young took steps towards stopping the

liens from forcing you to be removed from your home. it would last two years, comes after the city realized there were billing problems at the department of public works. a charred school bus was left behind after a fire . 28 kid were on the bus headed to kent county middle school, one lit a marine flair. the school principal credits the bus driver with saving lives. no one was seriously hurt, however, 7 students were treated for smoke inhalation. all are just fine. the arundel county council gets an earful from residents disgusted with leaders. fraternal order of police president was among union members vote nod confidence. leopold is charged with misconduct in office for using

good morning maryland. >> not the way you want your morning commute to start. this in ohio, drivers slipping and sliding one after another in columbus. no one was hurt. salt crews were called in to prevent more icy accidents. the tornados last week, now this what they were dealing with yesterday. >> that doesn't look good whatsoever. we had snow that moved in for us yesterday. the system pushed in and out to the atlantic as of now. it did drop snow in to southern maryland, calvert, the ocean city, the beach there is as well. for today, we are not dealing with snow, we are dealing with cold temperatures this morning. we could see the clear skies as we zoom in. with that temperatures are able to drop off. that's what you need to focus on. we can see, 21 degrees. we don't have a windchill , the winds are calm right now. we are dealing with the cold

warning service that cost millions of dollars failed to activate when tornados hit branson. officials want to know why it wasn't turned on. it sends messages to cell phones and land lines in times of severe weather. when the tornado hit, nothing was sent. the company didn't turn the system on. >> unfortunately when it happened, this time when we needed it, it was a service we
